FRONT DESK

Front Desk Manager (full-time) – Responsible for the daily operations of the Guest service agents, bellmen, doormen, and van drivers.  Duties include, but not limited to, ensuring the highest quality of customer service from yourself and all team members, helping to interview prospective employees, train new employees, input payroll, employee performance evaluations, ordering front office supplies, post new information on website, assist with technical support, and handle any guest/employee issues. The Front Desk Manager must be organized, detailed oriented and very personable.  Telephone and computer skills a must.   Must have at least one-year supervisory experience.  Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and available for all shifts.  Previous hotel experience preferred.

 

Security Officer (part-time) – The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling and monitoring the hotel.  Duties include key maintenance and assisting the Front Desk.  Other duties as assigned.  Must have at least one-year experience in a Security position.  Must have excellent customer service skills and have the ability to lift, push and carry up to 60 pounds.  Previous hotel/hospitality experience preferred but not necessary.  Must be able to work all shifts including the overnight shift.

 

HOUSEKEEPING

Room Attendant (full-time) – The Room Attendant performs routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of any area, which may be assigned, and supplies the area with the items for the convenience and comfort of our guests.  Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.  The position requires the ability to push up to 70 pounds and lift up to 40 pounds.   Must be available to work 9am – 5pm as well as weekends and holidays.

 

RESTAURANT

Cook I (full-time) – The line cook is responsible for prep work, portion control, garnishing and preparation of dishes according to standards set by the Executive Chef.  Must have previous cooking experience.

Bartender (full-time) – The Bartender is responsible to serve beverages and food to the guest in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.  In addition, the bartender also prepares beverages for other servers to supply our guests.   Must have at least one-year experience, have excellent customer service skills and have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.  Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and have the ability to stand and walk in confined space for long periods of time.  Must be (T.I.P.S.) trained and be able to work all shifts.

BANQUETS

Banquet House Person (full-time) – The Banquet House Person is responsible for set-up and breakdown of function areas for banquet meetings and functions.  Duties include but are not limited to moving furniture and maintaining a clean storeroom.   Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds throughout the shift, carry furniture, trays and boxes.  Must be able to push risers and chair carts.  Must be able to work all shifts and have excellent customer service skills.  Previous experience preferred but not required.

 

SALES

Group Sales Manager – Responsible for increasing awareness of the hotel and selling the property to increase revenue.  Must be self-starting, detailed oriented, possess excellent interpersonal skills and be goal driven.  Computer experience required.  Hotel or Delphi software experience a plus.    Some evenings and weekends required.

 

Director of Catering (full-time) – The catering sales manager’s focus will be on weddings, but not limited to, and will be responsible for detailing groups and working with local corporate and social clients to meet and exceed revenues and profit goals. Must be self-starting, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be detail oriented and goal driven.  Computer experience required.  Hotel/Operations along with Delphi software experience a plus.  College degree as well as catering and sales experience preferred.  Evenings and weekends required.  This positions requires standing and sitting for varying lengths of time and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.

MAINTENANCE

General Laborer – Responsible for general maintenance throughout the hotel. Must be able to perform demolition work when necessary. Some construction experience necessary. Position requires physical capabilities (lifting) and candidate should be available for all shifts and overtime. Good people skills are a must. This is a temporary position, estimated to last 3-4 months in length.
